Each bedroom in our Northumberland paradise has been meticulously designed to celebrate the grandeur of our estate. Our Luxury Suites welcome you to unwind in spacious elegance, with Emperor-sized beds and marble en-suite bathrooms, while their furnishings demonstrate remarkable attention to detail. Our Classic bedrooms encompass both classic and contemporary gentility, providing views of our manicured gardens, the nearby village and the sweeping countryside. Delight in our selection of exceptional restaurants, bars and bistros. The latest seasonal menus from our in-house chefs can be enjoyed in the sophisticated atmosphere of the Emerald Restaurant, while Cloisters Restaurant provides delicious grill and seafood options crafted with the freshest ingredients. Set in our parkland grounds, The Keepers offers stone-oven pizza, steaks fresh from the grill and classics with a contemporary twist. For a quintessentially British indulgence, our traditional Afternoon Tea can be served in The Drawing Room, complete with sweet and savoury delights, accompanied by your choice of hot drinks or Laurent-Perrier Champagne. The Vault Bar, our dedicated events space, welcomes you to celebrate life events amongst distinctive architecture.
Golf
Our championship golf welcomes our usual clientele of professionals and enthusiasts. Members and visitors alike will be able to enjoy golf at various levels across or 18 hole championship course, the Douglas, along with the 9-hole Dewlaw course and Himalayan putting green.
The golf academy featuring a 9 hole par three course, 15 bay top tracer range, short game area and all weather putting course, this facility will open in mid-August 2026. Experience gold standard facilities, a purpose-built clubhouse, a driving range, a golf shop and more in a stunning setting in the heart of Northumberland.
HISTORY OF THE ESTATE
