 Begin your Christmas with a memorable masterclass hosted by our local florist Kate from Northumbrian Flowers and including a festive Afternoon Tea. Join Kate on our magical estate as she helps you create a beautiful wreath to take home. An exquisite Afternoon Tea at Matfen Hall elevates the start of your festive season into something truly memorable.

With mince pies and mulled wine on arrival, you and your loved ones will quickly get into the Christmas spirit at our expert masterclass. Using bespoke British flowers grown in the heart of Northumberland and Kate’s professional guidance, you’ll lovingly craft a decoration that will bring joy to your front door throughout Christmastime.  

Choose from two masterclass sessions, each concluding with  Afternoon Tea in our opulent Drawing Room. Alongside views of our winter wonderland, you’ll enjoy a delicate and seasonal dining experience, ensuring this Christmas begins in unforgettable style.
