Preserving Our Landscape

Important irrigation work to the golf courses and grounds is underway, modernising the system, improving the greens and implementing a more sustainable future for the estate.

A new irrigation system is currently being installed. It will store water from drainage and course run-off, using it to irrigate the golf courses and parkland grounds rather than mains water. This new environmentally-friendly process will reduce our water use, whilst ensuring both the courses and rolling views are as radiant and lush as ever.

We are very grateful for your patience while our estate undergoes crucial work to install a new irrigation system.

We’re making these vital changes to safeguard our heritage grounds, improve our parkland courses and implement a foundation of sustainability.

Our 300-acre grounds and gardens have roots that go beyond the estate’s own history, and as guardians we’re committed to safeguarding this spectacular landscape for generations to come.
