THE COURSE
Set in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, only seventeen miles outside the centre of Newcastle and nestled near the River Tyne, Matfen Hall provides one of the most varied golfing challenges on the golfing map to date. Situated near the ancient remains of Hadrian’s Wall, our championship golf course incorporates challenging features from the dry stone ‘Ha-Ha’ to the fast-flowing River Pont which flows throughout.
