Sit by a crackling fire and indulge in the best of the season with our Festive Afternoon Tea. A wonderful gift and the perfect way to spend a winter’s afternoon, step into our elegant Drawing Room to enjoy exquisite patisserie, delicately spiced with the timeless flavours of Christmas.

Special at any time of the year, Afternoon Tea at Matfen Hall becomes even more magical during the Christmas season and is available from the 29th November 2024 until 4th January 2025. 

Unwrap our Festive Afternoon Tea to enjoy elegant seasonal sandwiches, homemade gingerbread scones and exquisite patisserie, expertly crafted to let the flavours of the season shine – from classic cranberry and cinnamon to timeless roast chestnuts and clementine. And, as indulgence is on the menu, why not add a sparkling touch to your experience and add a chilled bottle of Laurent-Perrier Champagne? ‘Tis the season, after all.

Available from 12.00 to 4.00pm, Tuesday to Saturday from 29th November 2024 to 4th January 2024.

Afternoon Tea may only be booked with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Please be aware a card guarantee is required at the time of booking and will be charged in the event of a no show or cancellation within 24 hours of scheduled arrival. Please note we do not accept dogs in this area other than assistance dogs.
