Raise a toast to tradition and good spirits with a refined weekend of warm Northumbrian hospitality, heritage whisky and timeless luxury.

A weekend for those with a taste for the unique. Arrive to a warm welcome, a whisky cocktail and time to immerse yourself in the majestic landscape of our Northumbrian home before embarking on an experience like no other. 

Travel by chauffeur for a private distillery tour at Ad Gefrin, the ancient home of Anglo-Saxon royalty, and witness the revival of a whisky-making tradition not seen in Northumberland for over 200 years. Explore time-honoured distilling techniques with hand-beaten copper stills using pure Cheviot water, locally grown and malted barley, and enjoy a dram or two.

Return to relax by crackling fires stroll our 300-acre estate and warm your spirits in our spa sanctuary before sitting down to a Tasting Menu in our 3 AA Rosette Emerald restaurant. End the evening with a curated whisky flight before sinking into a blissful night’s sleep. 

Wake to an a la carte Northumbrian breakfast, with an Ad Gefrin Bloody Mary, and time to refresh and restore in the spa before enjoying a relaxed late check out.
